I am in very sunny and hot Alaska! it is freaking awesome. Jeremy and Iris are great hosts, Jeremy’s lovely parents (Loren & Linda) are putting me up. I went to UAF today and visited the Museum. They have a really beautiful place, that cost a lot, but I personally think is a great testament to the Alaskans.
I’m leaving on a Jet Plane!
Since the whole paypal hack my debit card also got compromised so I have not been in a smashing mood.
Part of the problem is that work is gearing up for me leaving so I have had little breathing room and clients are being pains as clients often will.
It is really only now that I have started to even let myself contemplate my pending Holiday in Alaska. I have to say I am bricking it. I have never gone abroad before, but as I will be staying with the awesome Iris and Jeremy I know it will be good. I am by nature, if I'm being kind, 'cautious & nervous'. Going on this holiday is part of a small plan for myself to get some confidence in what I do, it has been working, though I can't be by any stretch be called outgoing.
I guess that is why I like so many kind hearted, but doubting characters from anime. So here is a shout out for those of you who also dig Hinata from Naruto, Hanatarou and Orihime from Bleach.
